Cult Activity
This is concept art of a story I was developing where the Earth rapidly deteriorates and mutates to a deserted hellish wasteland when the 1969 Moon landing occurs. Dawn Hansen is the main character of this story and it follows her journey of going up into space on Apollo 11 and crash landing back to earth in Morocco and figuring out what happened to Earth in the 3 days that have passed since the launch of Apollo 11.
Characters
Dawn Hansen - Working on masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Qualified to join the astronauts aboard the Apollo 11 to the moon in a blind test.
Dr. Karim Mandalee - Doctor in Astrophysics and a masters in Mathmatics and Zoology. He and his daughter are a few of the only people who have an actual perception of what has happened to the world. Meets Dawn early on and helps her survive her first few hours.
Mohsin - The Leader of the Cult of Qamar. Wears a blindfold to show his "blind faith" in their goddess, Selene.
