I have grown up in the “Digital Age” so most of my inspiration comes from art that I have seen on the internet and more specifically, YouTube. Because I grew up in the Digital Age, my preferred way of creating work is digitally. I find that working digitally allows me to meet my internal standards of creating intricate, dynamic illustrations better than any other medium. I love creating characters and worlds that could be turned into graphic novels, video games, or web shows.. My style of work is clean line art with intricate detail. I have worked hard to create characters with tangible personalities using vibrant expressions and dynamic poses. Being able to articulate what a character is like using only line art and color is important when creating interesting characters that hold people’s attention. High contrast jewel tones can be seen throughout my work, and I always find myself drifting back to a very particular shade of mid tone blue. It is an almost subconscious choice that reflects my love of the evening twilight, the soft cool edges of the end of the day that leads into the night.
