Cryptid themed playing cards
Ever since I was a child I have been collecting playing cards. I like the fun designs and the memories they hold. I also have a love of Cryptozoological creatures, so it seemed only natural to combine the two. I incorporated rich jewel tones with some good old mountain trail flare to achieve a mysterious but lighthearted vibe.

Ethereal Cosmetics - Fatal Desires
Ethereal Cosmetics is a fictional cosmetic company that produces timeless skincare using trendy ingredients. I myself am attracted to cool sleek looking packaging that catches the eye and I wanted my designs to reflect that. The practice of using animal venom in skincare is not new but I wanted to give it a new spin.
Food Illustrations
Food is always a difficult thing to render because if the lighting or the textures are wrong it can turn an appetizing dish into a nightmare. Both of these illustrations could be used as ads for various products or places or stand alone illustrations.

ICMAD Product Competition
I wanted to do something different for this competition, I felt like I was stuck in a rut of conservative product designs and needed to do something “Out there”. This idea was inspired by a web show on Youtube called Hazbin Hotel by Vivienne Medrano. The story takes place in hell and centers around various demons. I wanted to take a page from that book and create a cosmetic for demons in hell using ingredients that on earth you would never ever find in cosmetics- Drugs. Each syringe is based on the street name of a different illegal drug as a tongue in cheek way to imply that human drugs are actually beneficial in hell. I called the product line, Junkies Delight.

This is a mixed media project, the bottle itself is acrylic and plastic and the syringe handle is made out of foam core, glue and white gesso. The rest of the design was made digitally and photoshopped onto reference photos I took of the single bottle I had with me. The background was an old spare piece of canvas I had from an oil painting. I used black tea to stain the entire canvas then used olive oil, red and black ink, paint, and tea grounds to achieve the disgusting, used old bag affect. The label was inspired by and old piece of scotch tape I had on a binder from Middle School and shifty back alley drug deals.
The mock ups were taken by me then photoshopped to show the label. I had to paint my entire arm red and add texture around the nails to make it look like a demon arm. As a primarily digital artist, it was refreshing to be able to make something by hand and test my abilities.
